A few terms you'll run into in this guide, in plain language:
| Term | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Archive | Your music site, the website that holds your music and is built by Faircamp. |
| Self-hosted | You put your files on a server or service you control (or choose), instead of a big company's platform. |
| Faircamp | A free app that turns a folder of your music into a simple website (your archive). |
| Hosting | Putting that website online so it has a link (URL) others can visit. |
