Archive Builder Reference Manual

This page teaches you how to use the in-browser WPL Archive Builder.

1. Getting started​

Projects page​

  • Show the blank projects page.

Create a project​

  • Create a project.
  • Open the project.

2. Build a collection​

Blank editor​

  • Show the blank editor.

Create a collection​

  • Open the Files tab.
  • Click Create collection.
  • Expand the collection and confirm you see an empty file list.

Add some files​

  • Upload a single file, multiple files, and a folder.
  • Upload cover art.
  • Select cover art for the collection.

3. Modify collections​

Configure metadata​

  • Choose the cover art.
  • Rename the collection.
  • Set the collection date and note how the date affects ordering.
  • Rename a track.
  • Add track artists.

Reorder and delete​

  • Reorder tracks.
  • Delete a track.
  • Batch move tracks.
  • Batch delete tracks.
  • Delete a collection.

Build site​

  • Start a build.

Publish site​

  • Select a subdomain.
  • Publish the site.
  • Download the site ZIP.

4. Manage Account​

Open preferences​

  • Show account details.
  • Show build credits.
  • Show editor appearance settings.

Open usage​

  • Show builds.
  • Show publishes.
  • Show storage.
