Terms of Service

Welcome to WHEREDITGO Public Library ("we", "our", or "us"). By using our website and services (the "Service"), you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Eligibility​

You must be at least 13 years old to use WHEREDITGO Public Library. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

2. Description of the Service​

WHEREDITGO Public Library allows users to submit links to self-hosted instances of Faircamp, a static site generator for music hosting. These sites are displayed within our platform via iframes.

3. User-Submitted Content​

You are solely responsible for the content available via your submitted Faircamp instance. By submitting a link, you agree that:

  • The content is hosted using a valid and functioning Faircamp site.
  • You have full rights to distribute, display, and promote any music or materials on your site.
  • You may advertise your music or related merchandise, but WHEREDITGO Public Library does not facilitate, manage, or profit from any sales transactions.

You may not:

  • Promote or sell music you do not own or have rights to distribute.
  • Monetize DJ mixes or sets that contain unlicensed third-party material.
  • Host or link to infringing, pirated, or unauthorized content.

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these rules, without prior notice.

4. Prohibited Conduct​

You agree not to:

  • Submit links that do not point to a Faircamp instance.
  • Attempt to exploit, probe, or test the security of the WHEREDITGO Public Library platform or its users.
  • Engage in clickjacking, iframe busting, cross-site scripting (XSS), or any other behavior intended to interfere with the integrity or security of the Service.
  • Attempt to circumvent iframe restrictions or content policies.
  • Use automation, bots, or scraping tools in violation of our technical measures.

Any such activity may result in immediate termination of your access to the Service and may be reported to appropriate authorities.

5. Intellectual Property​

You retain any intellectual property rights in the content you host via Faircamp. By submitting a link to your site, you grant WHEREDITGO Public Library a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display the content via iframe on our platform.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties​

WHEREDITGO Public Library is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We make no warranties or representations regarding the availability, reliability, or security of the Service or any linked content.

7. Limitation of Liability​

To the fullest extent permitted by law, WHEREDITGO Public Library and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

8. Indemnification​

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless WHEREDITGO Public Library, its operators, affiliates, and partners from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

9. Modifications to the Terms​

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

10. Termination​

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, for any reason, including if you violate these Terms.

11. Governing Law​

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

You agree that any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Service shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Dallas County, Texas. You hereby consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of those courts and waive any objection to such courts, including objections based on inconvenient forum or lack of jurisdiction.

If you access the Service from outside the United States, you are responsible for compliance with local laws and regulations. WHEREDITGO Public Library makes no representation that the Service is appropriate or available for use in other locations. Use of the Service in jurisdictions where these Terms are not enforceable is prohibited.

WHEREDITGO Public Library respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users to do the same.

If you believe that your copyrighted work has been infringed on a user-submitted Faircamp site embedded in our platform, please send a written notice to:

Your notice must include the following:

  1. Your contact information.
  2. A description of the copyrighted work.
  3. The exact URL where the infringing content appears.
  4. A statement that you believe in good faith the content is not authorized by the copyright owner.
  5. A statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate.
  6. Your electronic or physical signature.

Upon receipt, we will review the claim and, if valid, remove or disable the infringing content. If you are a user who believes your content was wrongfully removed, you may submit a counter-notice with the same contact information and a statement explaining your legal right to use the material.
